Miracle

A miracle is described as an extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and often ascribed to a supernatural cause. Miracles are constantly manifesting into our lives, just need to train our eyes to see them. The things that are most endearing to us are the most challenging to acquire. Challenges are put before us to purify and strengthen us in order to prepare us for the miracles waiting to happen. Sometimes it comes in sadness, sometimes confusion or maybe the situation put before can be overwhelming. As humans, blinded by fear, pride and ego we tend to walk away or even worse seek refuge in things or try to find our answers in other people, more than often the answers we seek are within us. It is put that way in order for us appreciate the miracle to its full extent. In the Baha'i writings it says: "The mind and spirit of man advance when he is tried by suffering. The more the ground is ploughed the better the seed will grow, the better the harvest will be. Just as the plough furrows the earth deeply, purifying it of weeds and thistles, so suffering and tribulation free man from the petty affairs of this worldly life until he arrives at a state of complete detachment. His attitude in this world will be that of divine happiness.Man is, so to speak, unripe: the heat of the fire of suffering will mature him." Look beyond your tears and sufferings and you will see the miracle in store for you. Life is beautiful and so are you. You have life, you are a miracle.
